Dadaism was anti-war movement that made its way into graphic design. The designers who practiced Dadaism wanted to break away from the traditional art aesthetics. Many publications were created as a home for their ideas and writings and were handed out at rallies and protests. Much of the work produced used collage and a more experimental style to express their ideas.

The experimental ideas Dadaists portrayed through graphic design is similar to the rule breaking styles of other movements such as post-modernism, as seen within my previous research.
